Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift) Operator Course Outline


In this 4-hour program students learn the skills of proper operation of powered industrial trucks (forklifts). Course includes OSHA regulations, safe operating and lifting practices and inspections. Students must demonstrate proficient operating skills to complete
training as well as successful completion of written exam. Medical evaluation concerning vision will be conducted.  OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178-only trained and authorized operators shall be permitted to operate a powered industrial truck.
