CONFINED SPACE COMPETENT PERSON


This 8 hour course complies with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1915 regarding confined space entry competent person.  Personnel receive a manual and perform practical exercises regarding monitoring and confined space entry and rescue.

3.    Environmental hazards – testing requirements; toxicology
4.    Entry Procedures – permits; cleaning; ventilation; supervision
5.    Hot Work
6.    Preservative Coatings
7.    Rescue Procedures
8.    Respiratory Protection
9.    Role of the Competent Person
10.    Examination – Practical hands-on exercise involving monitoring, entry, rescue, lockout/tagout, etc.
